The course of the eyebrow lift procedure

The eyebrow lift procedure tightens the skin of the forehead, modifies muscle activity, and lifts low eyebrows. The incision is placed in the hair in the frontal-temporal region, then the skin is prepared up to the rim of the eye socket and sutures are placed at the eyebrow level and sewn above the rim of the eye socket

The procedure takes about an hour. Excess skin is removed. The scar is hidden in the hair or at the hairline and remains invisible

Another method involves lifting the eyebrows on strips of fascia or specialized sutures placed deep beneath the forehead tissues

Post-treatment recommendations

The dressings are kept on for up to 10 days, after the procedure there may be swelling, bruising and minor pain. During this period it is advisable to limit physical activity (avoid sudden movements and high physical exertion) and limit facial expressions.

The normal appearance of the forehead is achieved after about 14 days, and complete healing takes about a month. The final effect of the procedure should be assessed no sooner than after 2-3 weeks. The procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia. The eyebrow lift procedure can be combined with other procedures.

Eyebrows frame the eyes, a slightly raised line perfectly emphasizes them. Strong facial expressions, the passage of time and daily stress have a negative impact on this area of **the face.
