The course of liposuction procedure

The procedure involves the removal of fat and remodeling of the area and is performed in several stages. The first involves injecting the fat tissue with an anesthetic solution, followed by tunneling and elimination (suction) of the fat cells damaged during the procedure .

During one procedure, 3.5 liters of fat can be safely removed. Liposuction is performed under both local and general anesthesia. The procedure is not a method of treating obesity, but rather modeling of specific body parts. It can be used with other surgical procedures

Post-treatment recommendations

After the procedure, a special compression garment is put on, which reduces swelling and makes it easier for the skin to shrink. The first post-operative period lasts 7 days, during which walking is recommended. Massages are recommended after 2 weeks. A high-protein diet, vitamins, zinc, iron, walking and swimming, cycling are also recommended. A reduction in the circumference of the operated area is noticeable after 4 to 6 weeks. After the procedure, there may be slight swelling, redness or bruising. All these side effects usually disappear on their own after a dozen or so days. For about 2 weeks after the procedure, it is advisable to limit physical activity (avoid sudden movements and heavy physical effort). During the first period after the procedure, hot baths, saunas, and solariums should be avoided.

Liposuction - lipoclastic - is nothing more than a procedure for sucking out fat tissue. It is performed to remove excess fat from a specific part of the body, which, despite the use of an appropriate diet and physical activity, is not reduced. Body shaping, giving the right proportions to the body, is the main task of this procedure. However, it is not an alternative to bariatric surgery.
