The course of thigh plastic surgery at the Surgery Clinic

A thigh lift is a surgical, invasive procedure that involves shaping the thighs. During the procedure, excess skin is removed and, if necessary, excess fat tissue is sucked out (liposuction)

The incision is located so that it is not visible when the lower limb is in the normal position – it most often runs in the groin along the lateral edge of the pubic hair and continues along the inner surface of the thighs

The incision can be from a dozen to several dozen centimeters. The wound is closed in layers with sutures, and drains are left under the skin to drain small amounts of blood and secretions. The operation is finished by applying a pressure dressing.

Post-treatment recommendations

Drains are removed in the first few days after surgery. The patient comes to the Clinic for dressing changes and stitch removal. Movement is possible on the day of surgery. The stitches are removed no sooner than 14 days after surgery

For about 2 weeks after the procedure, it is advisable to limit physical activity (avoid sudden movements and heavy physical exertion). For the first period after the procedure, avoid hot baths, saunas, and solariums.

Thigh lift – why do we decide on this plastic surgery procedure * In some cases, the applied diet and physical activity are not able to change the appearance of our thighs. In such cases, a surgical thigh lift procedure is used, which allows for their body shaping by removing excess skin and fat tissue.
